Mubin Haq has been appointed Chief Executive of Standard Life Foundation. Mubin brings with him over 20 years’ experience in the sector. He joins the Foundation from Trust for London where over the past decade he has developed a range of initiatives tackling poverty and inequality, including strategic work on the living wage. As Director of Policy & Grants he also developed the Trust’s research activity and policy work.
Mubin has worked for a number of independent funders, including the South East London Community Foundation. He has also been on the boards of a range of organisations including as Chair of London Funders and on the boards of Community Foundation Network, the London Strategic Migration Partnership and the Homelessness Transition Fund.
Mubin replaces Howard Davies, who will become Head of Public Policy at Standard Life Aberdeen.
